Grizz Gaming acquires Michael “Cooks” Campbell and Rafel “Crush” Davis in three-team trade with Bucks Gaming and Gen.G Tigers

Memphis, Tenn. — Grizz Gaming, the NBA 2K League affiliate of the Memphis Grizzlies, today announced the team has acquired Cooks (Michael Campbell) and a 2023 first-round pick (16th overall) from Bucks Gaming in exchange for CP (Harry Friedman) and Dimez (Artreyo Boyd). Additionally, Grizz Gaming has acquired Crush (Rafel Davis) from the Gen.G Tigers in exchange for ReeseDaGod (Maurice Delaney).

Cooks averaged 18.8 points and 7.7 rebounds per game in 5v5 play last season. Cooks led Bucks Gaming to the Western Conference Finals in the 2023 5v5 NBA 2K League Playoffs. Cooks played a critical role for Bucks Gaming as they went on a run to win the 5v5 NBA 2K League Championship in 2022. Cooks was the second overall pick in the 2022 NBA 2K League Draft.

Crush averaged 5.9 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game in 5v5 play for Gen.G last season. Crush was the third overall pick in the 2020 NBA 2K League Draft. Crush was key for the Tigers in clinching a spot in the 2023 5v5 NBA 2K League Playoffs. 

CP averaged 24.5 points and 8.7 assists in 14 5v5 games for Grizz Gaming.

Dimez averaged 12.1 points and 10.3 rebounds in 14 appearances for Grizz Gaming. 

ReeseDaGod tallied 13.2 points in 13 games for Grizz Gaming.
