Grizz Gaming acquires NBA 2k League rebounding leader GOOFY 757 and two draft picks from Knicks Gaming

Team Sends Three Draft Picks in Exchange
Grizz Gaming, the Memphis Grizzlies’ NBA 2K League team, today acquired GOOFY 757 (Dayvon Curry), a 2019 third round pick and a 2020 second round pick in a trade with Knicks Gaming. In exchange, the team sent its 2019 first and second round picks and a 2020 first round pick to Knicks Gaming.
“We are thrilled to add a superstar like Goofy to our already talented Grizz Gaming team,” said Grizz Gaming General Manager Lang Whitaker. “As a proven champion in the 2K League, Goofy will step in and make an immediate impact. We can’t wait to get everyone here in Memphis to start putting in work for Season 3.”
GOOFY 757 enters his third year in the NBA 2K League and led the league in rebounding for the 2019 regular season (14.9 rpg) while also averaging 14.4 points, 5.0 assists, 1.7 assists and 1.2 blocks per game. The center also knocked down 72.3 percent of his field goal attempts. During the inaugural NBA 2K League season, the Virginia Beach native and ninth overall pick in the 2018 NBA 2K League Draft helped Knicks Gaming win the first NBA 2K League championship.
