Grizz Gaming defeated by Lakers Gaming at THE TURN powered by AT&T

Grizz Gaming lost 2-0 (58-64, 57-64) in a best-of-three series to Lakers Gaming Wednesday night in THE TURN powered by AT&T, the second of three in-season tournaments for the 2020 NBA 2K League season.

Grizz Gaming took three of four quarters in Game 1, but Lakers Gaming seized the win via a 25-10 advantage in the second quarter. Vandi (Zach Vandivier) led the Grizz with 23 points and six assists while Jrod (Justin Rodriguez) added 18 points. SAV (Sten Valge-Saar) had a game-high 34 points. Dweq (Antonio Valladares) grabbed 24 rebounds while posting 15 points.

In Game 2, the Grizz took a five-point advantage into the second quarter with the hopes of evening the series, but the Lakers outscored the Grizz 38-26 in the second half to earn the victory. Vandi tallied a 30-point performance. G O O F Y 7 5 7 (Dayvon Curry) posted a double-double of 16 points and 17 rebounds. Sav led the Lakers with 27 points.
