Grizz Gaming fades in second half to Kings Guard Gaming

Grizz Gaming moved to 0-3 in the regular season with a 64-46 loss to Kings Guard Gaming at the NBA 2K League Studio powered by Intel Friday night. Week Three of NBA 2K League regular season is a bye for Grizz Gaming and the team will return to action on Thursday, May 2 at 5 p.m. CT
The team were tied at 12-12 after the first period. Grizz finished the quarter shooting 5-of-8 from the field but four turnovers kept Kings Guard in the hunt. Kings Guard then pulled ahead by seven at halftime as Grizz cooled down in the second, shooting 3-of-9 in the quarter and finishing the half 1-of-7 from three-point range. Bp had 15 of Kings Guard’s 27 first half points.
Kings Guard heated up in the third, scoring 19 points and pushing the lead to 15 (46-31) heading into the final period. Grizz would come no closer than nine in the fourth quarter.
Vandi approached a double-double for Grizz Gaming, posting 17 points and nine assists. AuthenticAfrican recorded 11 points and seven rebounds. Grizz Gaming struggled to take care of the ball, committing 16 turnovers while Kings Guard had just nine of their own. Bp finished with 26 points and seven assists while shooting 6-of-12 from three-point range.
