Grizz Gaming falls to Bucks Gaming

Grizz Gaming lost 2-0 (68-71, 70-85) in a best-of-three series to Bucks Gaming Thursday night. The Grizz are now 7-8 on the season.
The Bucks built a double-digit lead in the second quarter of Game 1, but a 7-0 run by the Grizz late in the period aided the deficit as the team trailed by just three (35-32) heading into halftime. A quick 5-0 spurt by Grizz Gaming at the end of the third knotted the game up at 51-51 through three quarters. The Grizz took a 68-67 lead with 48 seconds remaining, but the Bucks scored the game’s final four points. Vandi (Zach Vandivier) led the Grizz with 39 points and five assists. Regg (Reginald Nash) had 28 points and nine assists for the Bucks.
The Bucks led the majority of Game 2 and took a 13-point lead into halftime. Memphis’ team chipped away in the third and cut the lead to seven before the Bucks pulled away in the fourth quarter. Vandi posted 25 points for the Grizz while AuthenticAfrican (Mehyar Ahmed-Hassan) had 20 points on 7-of-9 shooting (3-4 3P). Regg led the Bucks with 31 points.
