Grizz Gaming protects AuthenticAfrican, G O O F Y 7 5 7 and Vandi

Grizz Gaming, the NBA 2K League affiliate of the Memphis Grizzlies, today announced the team has protected AuthenticAfrican (Mehyar Ahmed-Hassan), G O O F Y 7 5 7 (Dayvon Curry) and Vandi (Zach Vandivier). The trio is ineligible to be selected in the upcoming NBA 2K League expansion draft.

AuthenticAfrican completed his third season with Grizz Gaming averaging 13.1 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists while shooting 69.7 percent from the field and 50.8 percent from three-point range. The shooting guard was one of five players to shoot at least 69.0 percent from the field and 50.0 percent from three-point range.

G O O F Y 7 5 7 finished his third season overall and first as a member of Grizz Gaming with averages of 11.7 points, 12.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.9 blocks and 1.6 steals while shooting 64.9 percent from the field. Curry finished seventh in the league with 522 total rebounds on the season.

Vandi, in his second season overall, both with Grizz Gaming, ended the season with a franchise record average of 30.8 points per game, to go with 7.7 assists and 2.0 steals while shooting 55.7 percent overall and 46.7 percent from long range.
