Grizz Gaming Selects Four Gamers in 2019 NBA 2K League Draft

Team Selects Zach Vandivier (Vandi) in First Round

Grizz Gaming, the Memphis Grizzlies’ NBA 2K League team, today selected four gamers in the 2019 NBA 2K League Draft. Point guard Zach Vandivier (Vandi), a Cleveland, Ohio native, was selected by Grizz Gaming with the seventh overall pick in the first round.

The team also selected shooting guard Justin Rodriguez (Jayrod) in the second round (27th overall), shooting guard Brandon Raudenbush (ToXsiK) in the third round (42nd overall) and returning player and small forward Daniel Davis (DDouble2K) in the fourth round (61st  overall). ToXsiK played last season for Cavs Legion GC while the remaining two picks enter their rookie season. Grizz Gaming previously retained Meyhar Ahmed Hassan (AuthenticAfrican) and Antonio Saldivar (UniversalPhenom) from last year’s team.

The 18-week season will begin Tuesday, April 2 with THE TIPOFF and will conclude Saturday, Aug. 3 with the 2019 NBA 2K League Finals. The complete schedule will be announced in the coming weeks. All regular-season games will take place at the NBA 2K League Studio Powered by Intel in Long Island City, N.Y., and will be livestreamed on Twitch. Weekly regular-season matchups will shift to the following times for the 2019 season: Wednesdays from 4-9 p.m. (MT), Thursdays from 4-8 p.m. (MT) and Fridays from 4-9 p.m. (MT).
