Grizz Gaming to select seventh in 2019 NBA 2K League Draft

Grizz Gaming, the NBA 2K League affiliate of the Memphis Grizzlies, will select seventh in the 2019 NBA 2K League Draft. The draft order for picks 1-8 was determined today by the league’s NBA 2K League Draft Lottery. Grizz Gaming had the seventh-highest odds (6.0%) of receiving the first overall pick. The team finished 6-8 in regular season play during its inaugural season presented by America’s Navy.
On Monday, Grizz Gaming protected Mehyar Ahmed-Hassan (AuthenticAfrican) and Antonio Saldivar (UniversalPhenom) from this year’s NBA 2K League Expansion Draft. AuthenticAfrican led the team as one of the top players in the league, finishing fourth in the league out of 102 players in scoring (26.4 ppg) and seventh in assists (9.1 apg). UniversalPhenom had consistent production this season, averaging 13.7 points and 7.4 rebounds per game.
